Local government is about about making decisions that affect residents and ratepayers and our local communities. It is really important that we have genuine community representatives on Council. It is vital that people of integrity and sincerity, who are determined to bring community views into Council, continue to have a seat there. I am repeatedly astonished by the ‘we know best’ attitude of many of my fellow Councillors.
